The Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA), the main governmental institution, responsible for implementation of innovation policy in Lithuania, published an interview with Dr. Anna Sobczak, policy making expert for clusters and emerging industries with the European Commisison, keynote speaker at the Baltic Cluster Forum 2019 that took place on March 19, in Kaunas and attracted participants from 12 different countries.

VDI/VDE-IT is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the COSME-funded project „European Cluster Excellence Initiative – Phase 2 (ECEI II).“ On April 26, 2019, the European Cluster Excellence Consortium (ECEC) met in the premises of the European Commission in Brussels to discuss the various ECEI II project results (2017-2019). 18 cluster experts attended the meeting, representing 13 organisations who had actively contributed to the ECEI II project.

Manufacturing USA is a public-private network of 14 manufacturing institutes. Its role is to connect people, ideas, and technologies, but also stakeholders from industry, academia, and the US government to solve industry-relevant advanced manufacturing challenges & to secure U.S. global prominence in advanced manufacturing.

The European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) on behalf of the Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) and THE NEXT SOCIETY (TNS) an initiative co-funded by the Directorate General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR), organised the EU - South MED Cluster Matchmaking Event & TechDays on 9-11 April 2019 in Casablanca, Morocco.
