ENRICH – European Network of Research and Innovation of Centres and Hubs, China has been officially launched on October 25th and 27th in Chengdu and Beijing, respectively. Promoted by the European Commission through Horizon 2020, ENRICH is a global network of centres and hubs that promotes the internationalisation of European science, technology and innovation (STI).
Between 22-23 November 2017 more than 250 participants from the Romanian, European and Balkan cluster communities as well as representatives of the European Commission, national governments, agencies for regional development and other cluster stakeholders gathered in Bucharest to share their experiences and discuss relevant cluster themes under the motto „Smart Clusters. Value Chains. Business Driven Innovation“.

Durable water repellent (DWR) is a finish added to fabrics to make them water-resistant. The pores on the water-repellent fabric remain open so it can 'breathe', making the garments comfortable to wear. DWR wears off over time, so retreatment (e.g. spray-on products for consumers to use) can be necessary.
