Description

How can regional policy-makers find evidence of the roles clusters play in smart specialisation strategies and broad-based regional socioeconomic development? What are the new approaches for monitoring regional cluster portfolios in different regions? How are cluster organisations and policy-makers using big data to evaluate their activities? These are some of the questions that will be explored at the next TCI Cluster Evaluation Working Group Meeting, hosted by region Skåne in Malmo on 15-16 April 2019.

The TCI Cluster Evaluation WG is the main organiser of this event. The CEWG coordinators (Madeline Smith, James Wilson and Emily Wise) are working together with the host organisation Region Skåne (Christian Österlind and Jonas Bergholm), as well as the regions of North-Middle Sweden (Dalarna, Gävleborg and Värmland), to organise the content and logistics for this working group meeting. As with previous TCI Cluster Evaluation working group meetings, the event will be held in English, and is expected to have around 35 participants from around 10 countries..

The event will be communicated through social media, and results will be posted on the working group’s section of the TCI website (see http://www.tci-network.org/evaluation).
