The Towards Green Transition facility has started!

Submitted by Imogen Allan on 04 June 2021

We are pleased to announce that the Towards Green Transition Facility has been launched.

The aim of the facility is to enable clusters to promote green transition skills among their members through technical advisory support by highly qualified advisors. Last week, separate orientation sessions were held with the selected clusters and the matched advisors. Both were well attended and everyone was eager to start working jointly on the green transition.

During the sessions, we walked participants through the journey and the various steps it entails. Participants also raised questions on the possibilities to exchange between clusters and learn from each other during and after the Towards Green Transition Facility, which we will gladly support.

Starting this week, project coordinators will reach out to the cluster managers as well as the advisors to set up individual kick-off meetings for each of the 25 projects. Both sides are expected to agree on targets and activities to be implemented during the four-month period.

The support will run until the end of September and we look forward to a fruitful collaboration with clusters and advisors promoting the green transition.
