Description
The group KDC/ONE - Zobele: Home Care Division, member of the cluster, is a leading global multinational in the development and manufacture of products, a key partner of the top homecare companies. They have nearly 15,000 employees around the world, 25 production plants, 26 research and development and innovation centers.
Among their needs and with the support of the cluster, they have detected the opportunity to create a sustainable packaging that maintains the properties of the product and more specifically the moisture barrier in homecare products, a single-material solution with recycled plastic. In addition, another of the challenges of KDC/ONE - Zobele is the implementation of paper pulp/cellulose trays in its production process, challenges that we will try to solve at the Market Viewpoint on February 22, which will take place at the Packaging Cluster facilities, at the Can Roqueta Industrial Business Center.
During the workshop, we will share knowledge to co-create ideas for new developments that anticipate and respond to the trends and needs of consumers and brands, as proposed by the company.
What is a Market Viewpoint?
The market viewpoints are sessions organized by the Packaging Cluster together with End Users to learn about and work with the packaging trends, demands and needs that customers ask of their most loyal brands. The idea of this workshops is to discover a new sector that is a consumer of packaging, such as homecare in this case, so that these companies launch challenges and explain the problems they have in the field of packaging, promoting thus innovation.
The attendees, with the help of an interactive methodology, propose possible solutions to the challenge. With this type of sessions, the aim is to bring the packaging sector closer to other related fields, to encourage possible synergies and projects between them.
