The European Cluster Collaboration Platform is holding a cluster capacity building webinar on 28 October 2020 (10.30-12.30 CET) to discuss how clusters can go digital.

This webinar ‘Digitalisation of Cluster Services and Activities’ will focus on peer-to-peer learning about how cluster services and activities can go digital.

At the core of cluster work is fostering innovation and growth by connecting actors across value chains, sectors and between businesses and academia.

The restrictions on travel and distancing rules in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis challenge the way clusters can achieve this all over Europe.

Clusters reacted rapidly to the new situation, rethinking their services to move them into a digital environment. We now see a variety of digital matchmaking events, virtual innovation projects, webinars, online conferences and workshops.

However, not all clusters had the capacity and knowledge to ensure a smooth transition. As restrictions are likely to still apply for some time yet, a digitalised offer remains a key challenge as well as an opportunity.

In this webinar, you will hear from clusters that have successfully transformed services from physical to online and learn from their journey. The speakers will share their experiences, challenges, and success stories.

From turning services digital, to choosing which technologies to use and how to master them to how to overcome the challenges fostered by the new way of working, the webinar will offer inspiration to clusters to step up their offer towards digitalisation.

The webinar will be participatory, with room for open discussion with the audience.

The agenda and more information will be provided closer to the webinar.

You can register here. Registration is open to participants from COSME countries. (The list of COSME countries can be found here.)

Looking forward to welcoming you at the webinar!
