The telematic engineering department of UC3M and the Big Data institute UC3M-Santander are desinging a tool that would use high resolution mobility paterns based in GPS geolocation in Spain. This mobility patterns would facilitate the development of selective confinements, which have proven to be effective in countries such as South Korea and would also have less impact on the economy. One aspect to consider is the privacy of personal information. The use of personal data must be legally protected and from the Spanish Data Protection Agency the criteria to be taken into account when working with this data have been indicated.

Use of personal data

Hi David, thank you for sharing! Which personal data would the tool need to be functional? And how far along are you in the working process?
