More than 1.3 million people were studying  ICT in the EU in 2018, out of which girls and women account for only 17% of all ICT students in the EU. However, the share of female ICT students were higher at higher education levels. Top 3 is led by Belgium (37%) followed by Romania (32%) and Bulgaria (31%).
