The organic sector is an important growing market in the Republic of Korea, and is expected to be worth €447 million by 2025.
A favourable business environment is in place between Korea and the European Union: a Free Trade Agreement, facilitating bilateral market access, and an equivalence agreement, which ensures that organic food and beverage certification processes are streamlined and easier for both sides.
However, the growing Korean market is not easily accessible to all. EU Gateway | Business Avenues can give European companies the assistance they need to set up a solid business presence locally.
EU Gateway | Business Avenues’ fifth Organic Food & Beverage mission to the Republic of Korea will take place from 30 November to 4 December 2020.
The EU-funded Programme offers selected European companies a package of benefits such as business coaching, promotion in Korea, matchmaking with local companies, participation in a pre-departure meeting in Brussels, and mission week events.
This mission will include a networking event, site visits, and an opportunity to visit the COEX Food Week exhibition.
Deadline for online application is 12 June 2020.
