Description of measure

ZEBx was founded by the City of Vancouver. It is a platform that strengthens the public and private capacities for zero emission buildings in Vancouver and British Columbia and uses a collaborative model unique to the building industry. The main beneficiaries are developers, industry associations, government, researchers, trades programmes, suppliers as well as clusters. The concrete activities of ZEBx's are: fostering innovation through dialogues, project tours, curated research, training and demonstration; supporting the industry through this transition, acting as a catalyst that transforms the entire design and construction value chain towards cost-effective, attractive, zero emission buildings; connecting the building industry to solutions, identify opportunities and broker relationships. This measure does not directly target clusters but has the potential to facilitate their set-up and development.
