Description

Canada offers an attractive proposition as a target market for the EU aviation industry, with high potential for cooperation with Canadian companies. The consistently growing, high-tech and export-oriented Canadian market is a driving force in international aviation. Greater Montréal is considered one of the most important aerospace regions in the world. Canadian and European suppliers, technology partners and end customers cooperate ever more closely to find solutions to common challenges in the context of global supply chains, sustainability and digitization.

For all companies and research institutions interested in cooperation opportunities with Canada, the Aviation, Space & Defense Sector Group of the Enterprise Europe Network, in cooperation with the Canadian Trade Commissioner, the region of Québec and the European-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research, will offer several opportunities for information, networking and market development in spring and summer 2024.

The focus will be on the following topics:

  • New materials & additive manufacturing
  • Emission-reducing technologies (“Green aviation”)
  • Drones, UAVs & Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)

The webinar on Technological cooperation & business development will explain ways to facilitate technological cooperation and market development taking advantage of publicly available support structures. Interested companies and industry clusters from Europe and Canada will have the opportunity to present themselves and their cooperation wishes and to name desired partners in the respective target region. After the event, they will receive individual support in finding and approaching cooperation partners.

The language of these activities will be English. Participation is free of charge.
