Are you a cluster or SME in the tourism industry? 

The European Commission’s Single Market Programme (SMP) has an open call to create a more sustainable tourism ecosystem. The goal is to align the tourism strategy with the EU’s SME strategy and industrial strategy. 

The call will provide financial support to third parties including SMEs. It will help the recovery of the tourism ecosystem and encourage the digital and green transformation of tourism companies, particularly SMEs, by boosting innovation, resilience and sustainability. 

Expected results are: 

• Enhanced resilience and competitiveness of tourism SMEs  

• New business models in tourism building on digitalisation, new technologies, sustainability and circularity 

• Enhanced cooperation  

• Improved transnational and cross-border cooperation, knowledge transfer and peer learning 

• Support recovery of the tourism ecosystem from the COVID-19 crisis
