Sofia Tech Park - science and technology park

The Sofia Tech Park is a state-owned company aimed to boost innovation, research and technological development. It is co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund. The main focus areas are ICT, life sciences and green energy. The objective is to foster knowledge exchange between academia and businesses and foster the creation of public and private partnerships to increase the competitiveness of the Bulgarian research sector. This measure does not directly target clusters but has the potential to facilitate their set-up and development as they can set up in the Tech Park and partner with the organisations.
