Woodroot is a growing furniture company that wants to move from predominantly bespoke projects into series-produced furniture, extend the portfolio of its services, and reach a broader customer group.  They actively cooperate with architects and designers and produce many projects that have become the basis for the interior design of many restaurants, offices and shops. The company’s aim is to increase the speed and quality of the design by dynamically implementing the customer feedback of their products, thus utilising the principle of co-design and translating ideas and inspirations into reality. Woodroot ambition is to transition to advanced digital prototyping technology with high-quality visualisations, to make more design decisions based on digital, and not physical prototypes.

Its business digital transformation project focuses on developing digital prototyping for mass-production furniture with the integration of lighting and on implementation of co-design principles for verification and improvement of the product, and quicker exchanges between the designer and target group. They will work with ENLUM, a specialized technology provider in digital prototyping and lighting design, in implementing a series of new products that will be able to explore the possibilities of shape and materials in a digital environment.
