Explanation of the call and its objectives

The goal of the RESIST (REsilience through Sustainable processes and production for the European automotive InduSTry) Euroclusters project open-call is to provide financial support to European SMEs, start-ups and/or mid-cap companies working in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem (MTA) to develop more sustainable production tools leading to economic success and resilience improvement in the face of future market changes and crisis of the MTA.

The RESIST Eurocluster will provide cascade fundings to distribute public funds and generate opportunities for SMEs, start-ups and/or mid-cap companies working in the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem (MTA), in the adoption or development of digital technologies. The aim of this Call is to support the participation in internationalisation acceleration activities organised in non-EU third countries. The eligible activities are:

·       Attend conferences in a target market

·       Attend trade fairs in a target market

·       Attend exhibitions in a target market

·       Attend in-person trainings or events on internationalisation

·       Participate in an in-person matchmaking events

·       Bilateral meetings with potential customers or suppliers (B2B, B2C, C2C)

Eligible criteria

Only SMEs, start-ups and/or mid-cap companies from the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem will receive funding from RESIST.

This FSTP scheme can be used to finance the participation in internationalisation acceleration activities taking place non-EU third countries from the launch of the open call and no later than 20 December 2024. Applications can be presented to finance the participation in upcoming activities. No retroactivity of costs is accepted, meaning that a grant cannot be used to cover costs of an action or activities that took place before the date of submission of the proposal.

Under this call, up to 15 FSTP schemes will be funded with a maximum funding of €2000 per SME (one person maximum per applicant and service) in internationalisation acceleration activities. To receive the full payment, awarded applicants will be required to present their real costs, a report of the activity, as well as acknowledging on social media the EU funding awarded, including the #RESISTeurocluster, mentioning EISMEA and DG GROW links or hashtags.

The maximum amount to be granted per applicant in the framework of the RESIST project shall not exceed €60,000 in total even in the case of multiple granted financial support scheme types (lump sums) to the applicant during the lifetime of the project.
