RESIST Eurocluster has officially opened its second Innovation Open Call. The call aims to provide crucial financial support to European SMEs, start-ups, and mid-cap companies dedicated to enhancing their production tools for economic success and increased resilience.

The primary objective of this open call is to support innovation projects that foster the development of advanced technologies and processes in production. These innovations should contribute to reducing ecological impacts, aligning with the broader mission of sustainability in the MTA sector.

Up to 20 projects will receive substantial financial support, with each SME eligible for up to €30,000 to advance their innovative projects. Beneficiaries are encouraged to select one of the three key challenges outlined by the project:

1.  Optimized digitalization in their companies through the integration of advanced technologies in the MTA sector.
2. Offering innovative solutions to achieve greener production systems or products.
3. Transitioning to renewable energy innovations in their production lines.

The submission window for project proposals opened on 3rd October 2023 and will close at 12:00 CET on 12th December 2023. Following this, an evaluation period will run from 12th December 2023 to 15th February 2024, with the selected projects scheduled to commence on the latter date. The projects are expected to run until 15th November 2024.

Notably, at least one partner from each chosen project must participate in the project showcase event. This showcase is slated to take place in Mulhouse, France, in either December 2024 or January 2025.

This Innovation Open Call underscores RESIST Eurocluster's commitment to driving sustainability and innovation within the MTA sector, positioning itself as a catalyst for positive change in the industry. Companies eager to participate in this initiative are encouraged to submit their innovative proposals before the December 12th deadline at the Cluster Submission Platform.
