Norwegian Arena programme

The Arena programme is the first of three levels of the Norwegian Innovation Clusters programme. Launched in 2002, the programme is geared toward improving the innovation abilities of companies and industries alike by fostering and improving collaboration. With a focus on smaller and /or newly launched projects, Arena clusters can be small with a more regional outlook as well as large with a national outlook. Technical as well as financial support comes within a time cap of three years, with the opportunity to extend for another two years. Since its inception in 2002, Arena has come to aid 70 cluster projects. As of now, it supports 18 cluster projets.
