On April 24, 2024, we had the honor to participate in a meeting organized at the Silesian University of Technology, coordinated by the Industry 4.0 Center of the Silesian University of Technology.

The event took place as part of the economic mission of Saxon companies and institutions from the aviation and space industry to Poland, which was attended by, among others: LRT Sachsen Thüringen e.V., Elbe Flugzeugwerke, Fraunhofer IKTS, MIKROMAT GmbH, Mühlbauer Parts & Systems, Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt (DLR), German Aerospace Center, DLR, Niles-Simmons-Hegenscheidt GmbH, Technische Universität Dresden, vosla GmbH, as well as many companies from our region, including: Łukasiewicz Research Centers - GIT.

This impressive list of participants was an extraordinary opportunity to exchange experiences and build partnership relations between our regions.

The Silesian Aviation Cluster brings together a wide range of companies and institutions related to aviation, from parts and component manufacturers to research and development centers and universities. During the meeting, we had the opportunity to present our key projects aimed at the integration and development of the aviation industry in the region (Silesia). The presentation was made by Jarosław Bulanda, vice-president and managing director of the Silesian Aviation Cluster.
