METS Ignited

METS Ignited (the Mining Equipment, Technology and Services Growth Centre) is part of the Australian Government’s Industry Growth Centres Initiative. METS Ignited works with Australian suppliers to the mining industry, global miners, research organisations and capital providers to improve the global competitiveness and productivity of the Australian METS sector. In order to do so, it is developing several actions (not exhaustive): METS Masterclasses Program: to give the keys to METS businesses to adapt their practices to the new challenges they face (e.g. Sales and Marketing Strategy, Business Development and sales process implementation, or Intellectual Property masterclass); a Cluster Program: to support the development of clusters across Australia, with Cluster Development Managers in Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia. These clustering initiatives include: Queensland Robotics, NERA’s Australian Hydrogen Technology Clusters, or TCI Oceania.
