Description of measure

The 'Medellín Ciudad Clúster' project is a public-private strategy that seeks to face the challenges imposed by the context of growing globalisation from the business fabric of the local economy. The Project is led by the Medellín Mayor's Office in a strategic alliance with the Medellín Chamber of Commerce for Antioquia. This project is part of the local economic development model, and constitutes an sector policy that seeks to promote productive modernisation and industrial reconversion based on the identification of the economic potential of the city. Its objective is to increase competitiveness based on the articulation of the business fabric which, through joint and associative performance, can increase the levels of competitiveness of companies.
