Primarily based in the Veneto Region in Italy, LUCE IN VENETO is a cluster that consists of over 50 SMEs in the smart lighting sector. It connects companies and their specific expertise to generate synergies and new business opportunities.

Following its selection by the European Commission and the ECCP to receive support from the Towards Green Transition Facility, LUCE IN VENETO is focussing on the circular economy.

The cluster was very enthusiastic about being chosen to participate in the facility. Discussing their greening activities, Antonella Venza, LUCE IN VENETO cluster manager, highlights that they recently went to the ‘Salone de Mobile’ in Milan (an international design exhibition) where it was clear that the main focus of the event was sustainability and the green transition.

LUCE IN VENETO is now defining its strategic plan on circular economy and are currently having meetings with their member companies to identify their specific needs and actions as well as discuss their strategic plans.
