Hosted by Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Korea Green Growth Trust Fund, and the World Bank Group, the 2-day annual event brings together leading public authorities, academics, and industry representatives to build and share knowlegde and promote domestic and international networking, which can be considered one of its key strengths and success factors. KGID in spring 2021 focused on the World Bank’s Build Back Better strategy and the approach taken by Korea through its Green New Deal and Digital New Deal. With 'Greening the Post-COVID Recovery' as the theme of the spring 2021 event, the virtual platform introduced transformative post COVID-19 strategies, initiatives, and projects and provided a platform for in-depth discussions about future areas of collaboration.
