PNCDI IV is the main implementation tool of the National Research, Innovation and Smart Specialization Strategy (SNCISI) 2022-2027, which transparently and predictably ensures the financing of the national CDI system for modernization, consolidation of excellence and increasing relevance for the Romanian economy and society. Through this framework document, fundamental and exploratory research, research and development dedicated to the Strategic Research Agenda and synergies with the national fields of smart specialization, innovation, innovation entrepreneurship and technological transfer are supported. The plan is structured on 10 research, innovation and digitization programs: human resources; performing research organizations, core, research infrastructures, challenges, partnerships for innovation; European and international cooperation; research in areas of strategic interest; science and society.
