On 11-12 December 2023, EPIX partners met in Krakow for the 4th International Focus Group organised by Klaster Zrównoważona Infrastruktura beside the Clusters meet Regions event!

A great opportunity to gain deeper insights into the SIC ecosystems and the S3 priorities of the Malopolska region and the main goals of the Krakow Smart City Strategy.

During the Focus Group, EPIX clusters engaged in inspirational discussion with the Krakowski Park Technologiczny | Krakow Technology Park, who hosted our meeting, Krakow municipality representatives as well as start-ups and companies focusing on inclusive, green, digital and smart city projects.

Additionally, partners visited the Krakow City Traffic Control Station and explored the real-time monitoring systems and strategies employed to manage urban traffic flow, as well as learnt about the integration of smart technologies, such as sensor networks and artificial intelligence algorithms.

Clusters meet Regions Krakow 

During the EPIX Focus Group, partners took on the chance to present its objectives and achievements at the Cluster Meet Regions event, hosted by European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP), Małopolska Agencja Rozwoju Regionalnego S.A. and EURADA - European Association of Development Agencies!
