ICBUILD Consortium and SMEs from Italy, Serbia, Poland, Slovenia and Hungary participated in the international mission in Toronto, Canada from 29.11.2023 to 01.12.2023 organized by ELCA European Lighting Cluster Alliance and SIPH Polish Construction Cluster in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario (ICCO).

This business mission aimed to explore the Canadian construction industry sector, meet with strategic Canadian building players such as construction associations, developers, certification offices during the Building Show 2023 in Toronto, the North America’s largest event for the design and construction sector.

Moreover, ICBUILD partners and companies had the opportunity to liaise with the representatives of the European Chambers of Commerce present in Canada, including EUCCAN – European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada, and participate in the specialized market-entry upskilling workshop “Constructing Connections: Insights & Networking” organized by the ICCO with the strategic guests who provided valuable insights on the market entry strategies, legal provisions and certification duties as well as building trends and planned investments in the Great Toronto Area.
