Support is available for newly installed photovoltaic systems that are operated in parallel with the grid and have an output of more than 5 kWpeak and a maximum of 50 kWpeak. The photovoltaic systems can be installed on company and residential buildings as well as open spaces. In the case of open spaces, they must not be agricultural or nature conservation areas. 

The following subsidies are awarded: 

• 275 euro/kWpeak for free-standing systems or roof-mounted systems
• 375 euro/kWpeak for building-integrated photovoltaic systems
