Funding is provided for environmental protection measures listed in §4 of the Funding Guidelines 2015 for Environmental Funding in Austria that cannot be assigned to any other defined funding area.

This includes:

• Measures to avoid or reduce operational noise emissions
• Measures to reduce the environmental impact of climate-relevant gases
• Pilot or demonstration installations for testing and introducing new or substantially improved technologies in the context of eligible actions
• Projects to test the application suitability of innovative system components, to prove their applicability on an industrial scale with reference to eligible measures. 

Examples of eligible installations (parts) include shares of an investment directly linked to the environmental benefit sought. In addition to the plant, planning and installation are also recognised as eligible costs.
