Air pollution control measures for existing plants or emission sources in industrial and commercial buildings are subsidised. 

Actions funded include:

• Avoidance of air pollutants (primary measures)
• Wide scale reduction of air pollutants (secondary measures) 
• Reduction of dust emissions from commercial and industrial plants, in particular PM10 
• Capture and treatment of diffuse dust emissions, if no such air treatment plant already exists 
• Improvement of filter systems in biomass plants 
• Equipment and retrofitting of exhaust after-treatment systems to reduce particulate emissions from construction machinery and equipment, and special vehicles in accordance with the VERT filter list of the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).

• Filter systems 
• Catalytic after-treatment systems 
• Thermal afterburners
• Hall exhaust systems with treatment plants 
• Process conversions for emission reduction 
• Particulate filters 

In addition to the plant, planning and installation are also recognised as eligible costs.
