From 22nd to 24th of November, the AEWEN team successfully carried out their last mission of the project, this time in Casablanca, Morocco. The mission spanned three entire days, benefiting a total of 12 EU companies. The focus was on the water and energy sectors, aiming to establish collaborations with local stakeholders and companies and to propel the participating companies' presence in Morocco.

The first day was held at the Barceló Hotel in Casablanca and started with a conference centered on the Water and Energy sectors. The EU delegation in Morocco extended a warm welcome and inaugurated the session. Subsequently, Mohammed VI University, IWRI, and LYDEC shared valuable insights into the present and future of water management in the country, highlighting the main challenges related to water stress. Following the water-focused discussions, presentations delved into Morocco's energy sector, emphasizing renewable energies, energy transition, and green hydrogen. Speakers from AMISOLE, IRESEN, and Cluster H2 provided informative talks. After a networking break, the EU companies engaged in a productive marketplace session, interacting directly with institutions. The afternoon was dedicated to individual B2B meetings at the hotel.

On the second day, the 12 EU participants conducted visits to selected Moroccan companies for individual B2B meetings.
The concluding day of the mission provided the opportunity to attend the Global Green Event in El Jadida, a trade fair spotlighting innovative greentech solutions. Companies had the chance to engage with exhibiting companies, fostering discussions with prospective partners.
This mission provided an outstanding opportunity for EU companies to glean valuable insights into Moroccan businesses, explore potential collaboration opportunities with prospective partners, and deepen their understanding of the energy and water markets in Morocco, thereby establishing collaborations with new partners
