The Environmental Sustainability Innovation Lab (ESIL) is a partnership of EDF Renewables, Bazan Group and Johnson Matthey. ESIL is a platform dedicated to establishing breakthrough sustainable innovation solutions. The main objective of ESIL is to deliver economically viable technology solutions that support the transition to a NetZero world. The main beneficiaries are industries looking for green technology solutions which are connected by ESIL with Israeli sustainability tech entrepreneurs and start-ups developing innovative and disruptive solutions to environmental problems. The main activities of ESIL are: providing funds, knowledge, technological capabilities, laboratories, equipment, mentorship, professional consulting, international connections. The main success factor of ESIL is that it provides access to worldwide infrastructure locations and experts in various fields. ESIL provides funds up to 1,000,000 NIS investment (EUR 257,675).
