This guide provides criteria and seven handy steps to help companies integrate environmental factors into product and service designs. It is aimed at industrial design companies and/or people involved in product design. The handbook includes four case studies of Basque companies that successfully implemented the steps and the improvements they reported in the product designs and innovation, but also in terms of the environmental benefits (i.e. reduced product weight, minimised energy consumption, etc.) and company image.
