Description of measure
The objective of this scheme is to support the development of Indian clusters specialised in handloom to become 'Mega Handloom Clusters'. The scheme provides tools for clusters, i.e. supports them with comprehensive development plans, encourages public-private partnerships. It also supports them to overcome key bottlenecks for the development of the handloom industry (lack of skills, lack of infrastructure, lack of market facilities, etc.)
