The Burgas Digital 2021 conference will bring together high technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics, Industry 4.0, the concept of smart cities and innovative methods in education with business, science, entrepreneurship, local government and professional organizations in the region.

The conference is organized by the Municipality of Burgas and Sofia Tech Park in partnership with the Professional Association of Robotics and Automation (PARA), ICT Cluster - Burgas, the School Board at the Vocational School of Computer Programming and Innovation - Burgas, Industrial Logistics Park - Burgas, Southeastern Digital hub, University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ”- Burgas, Burgas Free University, American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria.

The following topics will be discussed in the four separate lecture panels:

• What robots are made in Bulgaria?
• What projects do Bulgarian companies develop in these areas?
• What are the innovations in the industry?
• The place of Burgas on the industrial map?
• New industrial automation projects?
• How to build a smart factory and what advantages does it give?
• Necessary technologies for building a smart city?
• How do education, business, municipalities cooperate in the field of digitalization?
• The role of STEM centers and their connection with robotics
• Building digital leaders

With the increased introduction of automation in our country, the pilot edition of Burgas Digital 2021 will consider the trends in production in our country, in the accelerated implementation of robots, and will be reviewed of advances in industrial automation.

Speakers at the event are prominent representatives of business, academia and industry associations involved in robotics and digitalization.

During the event will be demonstrated solutions in the field of automation and robotics, virtual reality and smart cities from "FANUC" Bulgaria, "Telelink Business Services", University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ”,“ Rapid Progress ”,“ Ondo ”,“ Giga Automata ”, the educational startup“ Tinusaver ”and the students from the Vocational High School of Computer Programming and Innovation, who are studying in the specialty“ Programming of Artificial Intelligence ”.

In one of the panels of the conference the chairman of ICT Cluster Burgas Petko Georgiev will present the project "Southeast Digital Innovation Hub", which aims to support the development of digitalization in the Southeastern region of Bulgaria. The hub will help companies find the right experts, advisors and IT solution providers here or in other European countries that can help them define and succeed with their digital transformation. Digihub is part of a pan-European network of digital innovation hubs.
