Apply now to the WeNet project open call for diversity

DEADLINE: 30 September 2021

The WeNet project is an online platform that aims to create a diversity-aware, machine-mediated paradigm for social interactions.

It was launched in January 2019 and is funded by the EU’s Horizon 2020 programme. The project has published an open call to extend the impact of the WeNet project by involving additional institutions and increasing diversity.

If you are an innovative SME, start-up, NGO, university or research centre, you can be part of the WeNet community and contribute to creating a more diverse and ethical digital landscape.

The call is organised around 3 tracks. Each track targets a different set of objectives, has a different budget and different project duration.

The challenges are:

  • Track A – App (6 months)  Develop a new use case, a new app and run an experiment

  • Track B – Data (4 months)  Re-use an existing WeNet app and run an experiment

  • Track C – Open Track (6 months)  This is a free track where proposals that do not fit Track A or B but are relevant can be submitted.

At least five proposals will be selected for funding of €25,000 to €50,000 each.

The deadline is 30 September at 12pm CEST.
