SIMIS – Strategic International Market orientation for Innovative Small and medium sized companies.

SIMIS

The second meeting has taken place at the highly innovative company Ortic in Borlänge. Theme: To develop an innovative company culture.

The process in SIMIS continues with four innovative companies who are progressing in the international market. The goal is to generate a fast and safe internationalization with a business model that is sustainable and has a vision to create an own market. The benefits of a systematic market orientation are that companies become proactive and have more control over the business development.

You can follow the process www.triplesteelix.se where we will be posting a strategy containing everything from the preparations of the client, to concrete actions. The result will be a model for small and medium sized businesses within the steel and engineering sector that supports a strategic work for a new market and increasing business deals.

The host for the meeting was Ortic, a company that delivers intelligent “rullformningsmaskiner” for 2 and 3-D “rullformning” to leading companies. Alexander Hjelm, market manager at Ortic comments SIMIS:

The group of companies that HIG and Triple Steelix have gathered have a lot in common, and are created with focus on technology. We all have good products that are unique in their own ways, but we don’t have the knowledge to fully convey the values that our products can give to our clients. With SIMIS we get the opportunity to exchange experiences with other companies, and through this exchange our progress journey is made faster.

SIMIS

In the SIMIS work model each work package contains important information for a proactive work method and development of business models, with the aim to be established on the international markets.

SIMIS works with networking where the companies meet and discuss important strategic parts of the leading work of the new business models. The method that is being used has been developed by the University of Gävle. Professor Akmal Hyder and adjunct lecturer Agneta Sundström from the institution of economy will share their knowledge and enthusiasm for the opportunities that Swedish businesses have on the international market. They will follow all the companies process to further improve the model.

  • How the company communicates its image both internally and externally affects the culture
