The EU-Japan Centre is currently calling for applications for its very first Green economy Cluster/SME mission to be organised in Japan, on 14-17 March 2023, alongside “Tokyo Decarbonisation Expo”.

It is a physical mission

Unique opportunity for B2B meetings!

On the 14 March orientation day. From 15 to 17 March, the participants will have the opportunity to exhibit at the “Tokyo Decarbonisation Expo” within a joint booth for all the participants of the mission. The number of places is limited, hence a selection process will be held.

Target group

Targets participants are SMEs companies operating in the below topics:

  • Energy production & conservation (Renewables, biomass, CCS, SMRs, co-generation, energy storage, advanced materials, thermal isolation...)
  • Efficiency and sustainability (Sustainable consumer products, recycling, waste reduction, reusable products...)
  • Mobility (Zero emission vehicles, hydrogen, e-bikes, fuel cells, micromobility...)
Costs

The EU-Japan Centre will cover participation fees for the fair and the booth operational costs. The participating company is expected to cover travel, accommodation and living expenses.

Programme's objectives
  • Identify relevant key contacts (decision makers, R&D centres, potential partners etc.)
  • Establish relationships with potential partners (trade and technology)
  • Benefit from face-to-face meetings leading to possible business opportunities
  • Gain knowledge about market structure, sector analysis, Japanese business culture and policy
