Changes in Triple Steelix

Jernkontoret, The Swedish Steel Producers’ Assocation, has appointed Larz Ignberg as the new Process Leader for Triple Steelix. He succeeds Jan Andersson whose great commitment  has led to Triple Steelix initiating and running over 50 research and development projects that contribute to product and process development among small and medium-sized enterprises in the steel and engineering industry in Bergslagen.

The management is strengthened by Tiina Ohlsson, who has been assigned as Deputy Process Leader.

Larz and Tiina will work closely together to ensure Triple Steelix's purpose, goals and future development.

Triple Steelix will continue to work in collaboration with industry for the development  of projects and innovation, together with academy within our three counties for research and development, and together with municipalities and other organisations. Focus is primarily on our value chain, resource efficiency, attractiveness and competence.

Larz, is already well known in the industry. He has been involved in the development of Triple Steelix in recent years, as Triple Steelix project leader for the value chain. He has long experience from industry where he has worked on development issues and projects. In addition to production, process development, product development and strategy work, Larz has also worked with market issues, commercialisation and business development.

Tiina, joined Triple Steelix earlier this year and is responsible for the area of ​​attractiveness and competence development. She has been involved in Triple Steelix on two previous occasions, in steering groups and in the board.

"We feel strongly for Triple Steelix and look forward to pushing forward the organisation with our colleagues and partners," say Larz and Tiina.

With the expanded resources in the process management, we are looking forward to a rewarding 2018!

Maj-Britt Johansson, former Rector of the University of Gävle, who has been a member of the Board during the second phase of the program, now leaves the board and is replaced by Ylva Fältholm, who was appointed Rector of the University of Gävle in October 2017. Yvla Fältholm is a professor of working life and comes most recently from Luleå University of Technology where she was the Head of Department and Dean of the Technical Faculty. We thank Maj-Britt for her efforts as a member of the Board and welcome Ylva.
