Within the scope of action of the Eurocluster RESIST, of which CEAGA is part, a call for grants has just been launched for European SMEs of the Mobility, Transport and Automotive ecosystem to implement innovation projects related to the green and digital transition. These European funds are managed through the Eurocluster to facilitate access to SMEs. The call has a total budget of €800,000 to be distributed in two application periods. The deadline to apply for the grant in the first period is June 21.

Interested companies can submit individual or consortium projects with a maximum duration of 9 months. For individual projects, the grant will achieve a maximum of €20,000 per SME and, for consortium projects, the grant will be a maximum of €30,000 per SME and €90,000 for the whole consortium. In addition, the innovation projects submitted must respond to one of the following challenges:

• Optimized digitalization of the company, through the incorporation of advanced technologies.
• Innovative solutions for more sustainable production systems or products.
• Transition to renewable energy innovations in the production line.

Likewise, in order to be eligible for the grant, consortia must have a maximum of 3 companies from two different regions. Both CEAGA and the other partners that make up the Eurocluster RESIST will monitor the beneficiaries during the implementation of the project, offering support and advice.

To apply, SMEs that wish to apply for the grant must register on the “Submission Cluster Platform” and fill in the application form with the required information: https://clustersubmissionplatform.eu/eurocluster_post/resist-innovation…

The Eurocluster RESIST: “Resilience through sustainable processes and production for the European automotive industry” aims to help SMEs in their green and digital transition process, as well as to increase their resilience to upcoming challenges. To achieve this, the RESIST Eurocluster mobilizes more than €1 million in cascading funds through different calls. In addition to the call for innovation, grants will be made available for networking, internationalization and training activities.

This initiative is co-financed by the Single Market Programme (SMP COSME), through the European Commission’s “Joint Cluster Initiatives (EUROCLUSTERS) for Europe’s recovery” call.
