AEI Tèxtils, the technical textiles’ cluster of Catalonia, will be present at the next edition of the most important technical textiles’ exhibition worldwide, TECHTEXTIL. The event will take place in Frankfurt from May 14th to 17th.

Since its creation in 2008, AEI Tèxtils has been present in all editions of this trade fair, which is held every two years in parallel with the TEXPROCESS trade fair.

In the last edition, 33.670 visitors from 104 different countries and 1.477 exhibitors from 55 countries were present at TECHTEXTIL.

During the four days of the trade fair, AEI Tèxtils will organize and/or participate in different activities.

Within the framework of the European project EU-TEXTILE2030, a matchmaking event has been organized between members of the different clusters that integrates the partnership. Companies will have the opportunity to hold B2B meetings with other companies or centers of their interest.

On 14 May, representatives of AEI Tèxtils will attend the networking dinner organized by the European Club of Technical Textiles.

On 15 May, AEI Tèxtils has organized a meeting of the CONTEXT network, led by the cluster, along with a guided visit to the microfactory, which will be presented by the Textile Research Institute of Denkendorf (DITF).

The same day, AEI Tèxtils’ members will have a joint dinner.

On the last day of the exhibition, on Friday 17^th  at 11 pm, Leitat Technological Center, member of AEI Tèxtils, will make a presentation on eco-composites at the forum of the Dornbirn Global Fibers Congress, moderated by Friedrich Weninger, general director of the Austrian Institute of Fibers. The presentation will be in charge of Ruth Garcia, researcher at Leitat (Hall 4.1, Stand J39).

In addition to these activities, during TECHTEXTIL, AEI Tèxtils will have meetings with its international partners.
