BIO Oltenia Cluster

The general objectives of Cluster BIO OLTENIA are as follows:

• Development and marketing of innovative products and services;
• Development of road and navigable transport infrastructure;
• Promoting intercommunity at regional level - establishing urban communities and commune communities;
• Development of identity and health tourism;
• Regional human resources development;
• Creation of a a cluster brand;
• Promoting the Green Pact at regional level;
• Education of young people regarding the regional organic products;
• Internationalization of the business environment and support structures, meaning that it will develop a strategy for development and internationalization, marketing and branding;
• Participation and / or initiation of projects for SMEs, research, administration, cluster, with funding from public and / or European funds;
• Collaboration with other clusters from the South-West Oltenia development region, from the country and from abroad in order to achieve strategic partnerships;
• Cross-border and transnational collaboration (European Union Strategy for the Danube Region, Cluster House Network, etc.);
• Participation in national and European cluster networks;
• Creation and development of its bilingual website;
• Managerial improvement of members and employees;
• Attracting new members in the cluster, people who have common interests with those of the founding members;
• Digitization of local public administration;
• Representing the interests of the members in the relation with local and central public authorities and towards third parties;
• Protection and development of mountain areas as provided in law 197/2018;
