On October 11th the for the Strategy development. The High Level Advisory Board-meeting was organized and hosted by Food Valley NL at the thriving faciliities of Hotel and Conference Center Papendal, also the home of the Dutch Olympic training centre. The meeting was attended by all partners of the New Frontiers in Food-project accompanied by representants of each cluster. The group of 15 people represented a good mix of Small and Medium Enterprizes from France, Belgium and The Netherlands, covering various aspects of the food and ingredient industry. The draft New Frontiers in Food strategy was the starting point of the meeting. After introduction of all participant, the New Frontiers in Food project and the draft strategy was explained by the partners. In an interactive and lively session various the draft strategy was challenged by 11 propositions. The input and discussion following the propositions (a true ‘living lab’-experience) has provided valuable input for the project team. The input is currently being included in the final Strategy Document for the New Frontiers in Food-project: “new frontiers in food to be explored!”
