Marine South East's CEO Jonathan Williams recently visited South Africa in order to find local potential partners with whom to build a footprint in the Southern Afrian contintent of parties who might use satellite applications to manage their fisheries and aquaculture ventures.

A number of very good meetings were held with local companies.

ABAGOLD cultivates Abalone, the world's most desirable seafood at the southernmost tip of Africa. The company may be interested in using SpaceWave technologies to monitor algae blooms and for security purposes.

OLRAC are a group of companies involved in fisheries management who work across both Southern and Eastern Africa.

Jonathan also met with the Western Cape Maritime Cluster which is a new organisation that aims to strengthen and develop the maritime industrial sector.
