Within the framework of the European project FIT4FoF (”Making our Workforce Fit for the Factory of the Future”), CEAGA and the 8 partners participating in this initiative have launched a digital catalog to collect training initiatives for the workers of the Factory of the Future.

The FIT4FoF project, approved by the European Horizon 2020 program, aims to identify new professional profiles in the field of factory 4.0. It is formed by a consortium of 9 partners belonging to 8 European countries: Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Romania, France, Denmark and Italy. As part of the project, the development of four pilots with educational and training approaches has been programmed, as well as the constitution of the so-called ”Communities of Practice” to create a community and share knowledge, best practices and skills and the creation of a catalog of initiatives.

The objective of this ”Digital Upskilling Initiatives Catalog” is to identify the best initiatives in Europe for the training of workers 4.0 and make them known, as well as to share good practices.

The catalog includes initiatives such as forums, grants and scholarships, policies and regulations, projects or training activities (courses, programs or training plans) that can be focused on different sectors: automotive, naval, technological, chemical, medical-technological, etc.

Those interested in being part of the catalog can register through the web of the FIT4FoF project (http://www.fit4fof.eu/catalogue/new). The committee of partners will be in charge of validating the initiatives and the best will be awarded as ”best European initiatives of upskilling” in a final event of the project.
