Last Thursday, June 8, the second call for the Business Factory Auto initiative (BFA) was launched with an event attended by two hundred people, interested in knowing the requirements to participate in this new edition.

As a novelty, in this second edition will be selected a maximum of twenty projects: ten for acceleration phase and ten for consolidation. In addition, this year a series of topics of particular relevance to the Sector have been identified, which can be found in more detail in the program bases (available on the BFA website).

At the event, the 9 participating projects in the first edition were presented, whose origin not only stems from startups, but came from ideas of companies in the sector (spin outs) and knowledge centers (spin offs).

Finally, the event was closed by the President of Vigo Activo and Delegate of the Zona Franca, Teresa Pedrosa; the Director of the Iberian Pole of the PSA Group, Frédéric Puech; the President of CEAGA, Juan Antonio Lloves, the President of the Zona Franca Vigo, Abel Caballero and the Regional Minister of Economy, Employment and Industry, Francisco Conde.

Those interested in submitting a project to this second edition of the BFA, can do so until next August 15th, through the website: www.bfauto.es, where also appear the regulatory bases with the requirements that companies must meet.
