Block.IS Info Day | Belgrade, Serbia

During the last Monday of July, InoSens and VOICT in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia organized an Info Day in Serbia's capital. During this fruitful event, Serbian tech startup & SME community, as well as IT clusters, investors and media had a chance to get to know the project firsthand.

It's crucial to recognize the importance of supporting all those blockchain technology companies, both in development and in their application in all traditional businesses, and above all the ones that are contributing in the field of agriculture, logistics and finance. That was the key message of the Block.IS Info Day held in Belgrade, where startup and SMEs representatives had the opportunity to get more familiar with the terms of participation in the project, the benefits it brings and how to apply.

According to Mihailo Vesović, the director of the Sector for Strategic Analysis, Analytics, Services and Product Packages of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, this model of accelerator is a true example of how innovative and startup companies can receive not only financial support but also business and technical support at the very beginning of business.

Such an EU-funded accelerator and program will make a significant contribution to blockchain companies in these three areas from developing their projects to eventually developing a final product that will be more competitive in the European and world markets.
