Second Cluster Day of the Austrian National Cluster Platform on 16th October 2019
On 16 October 2019, the second Cluster Day of the National Cluster Platform took place in Vienna at aws (Austria Wirtschaftsservice).
In the morning, the focus was on a follow-up to the first Cluster Day with short reports of the respective session-leaders as well as on inputs from the federal funding agencies FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency) and aws (Austria Wirtschaftsservice). Furthermore, four clusters presented success stories in the context of a cluster talk.
The afternoon program featured three parallel sessions:
- Research and technology transfer: Clusters and their role in the dissemination of findings from university & non-university research
- Robotics, value chains and growth potentials - opportunities for Austrian cluster companies
- Trend Monitoring and foresight in clusters– methods, activities and cooperation potentials
