Global Survey Results on sector-specific impact of COVID-19 and role of cluster managers in ramping-up

In April 2020, all TCI members managing a cluster organisation/business network were invited to participate in this Global Survey, a joint undertaking by TCI Network and VDI/VDE Innovation, aimed at better understanding the sector-specific impact of COVID-19 and the role of clusters during the crisis and at the end of the lock-down.

The contribution of each of the 67 clusters representing 6,500 businesses to the survey is much  appreciated, supporting a better apprehension of:

  • How cluster companies are impacted in a sector specific basis?
  • How are the industrial and commercial sectors they represent hit?
  • How to initiate a re-start once the lock-down is eased?

The results of the TCI Global Survey are available attached.

The results will help to shift the debate within the global cluster community about the relevant role of professional cluster management in successfully support the industry to ramp up at the end of the lock-down and on the way to re-start economies.
