EU Industry Days 2019 - calls for expression of interest are open!
The 2019 EU Industry Days will take place on 5-6 February 2019 in Brussels (The Egg Congress & Meeting Centre). The EU Industry Days were established in the spirit of co-creation, dialogue and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders. The programme will be once more co-created by the European Commission and by stakeholders. In addition, throughout January and February 2019 local events will take place across Europe under the brand of the European Industry Week.
If you would like to shape the agenda of this event together with us, you can apply to one or both of the following calls for expression of interest:
1. Stakeholders' sessions during the main conference – Call for expression of interest
Stakeholders are invited to submit their proposals to organise a session on 5-6 February in Brussels within the official programme of the 2019 EU Industry Days. The EU Industry Days provide an excellent opportunity for you to highlight and discuss new emerging industrial, societal and environmental trends that may need a response from the EU. Stakeholder sessions are an excellent opportunity to bring together key players to discuss topics that are relevant to your industry and engage with a diverse audience representing a variety of industrial sectors from all over Europe. The high level of interest generated in the European Industry Days will enable you to raise awareness of issues that are of broad relevance for EU industrial policy development, thus providing you with a unique opportunity to make a real impact on upcoming decisions. Proposed sessions should be shaped around the 3 following themes: Industry & sustainability; Industry & globalisation; Innovation & digitalisation. 2. Local events across Europe – Call for expression of interest
Stakeholders are invited to submit their proposals for organising a local event as a part of the European Industry Week 2019 anywhere in Europe throughout January and February 2019. Organising a local event under the umbrella of the 2019 European Industry Week is an excellent opportunity to bring visibility and exposure to your event, to contribute to the debate/discussions sparked by the event and to inform its proceedings. Local events will be labelled as European Industry Week events, and will be promoted on the Industry Day website. Proposed events should also be shaped around the 3 following themes: Industry & sustainability; Industry & globalisation; Innovation & digitalisation.
