ECCP webinar: Learn how to effectively communicate about your cluster

Submitted by Lee Gibson on 16 June 2020

Effective communication is an important activity for any cluster organisation, keeping members informed and involved in cluster activities and highlighting the impact of clusters to key stakeholders and the public.

Clusters need to communicate with multiple target groups, including companies, universities, policy makers, and funders, among others, using a wide variety of channels, such as newsletters, websites, social media and direct mail.

Yet, communicating successfully with multiple target groups is not always easy and a clear communication strategy is key to get your message across.

The latest ECCP webinar on 30 June (10:30 – 12:30 CET) will offer expert insight and guidance on how to develop your own communication strategy and to understand the channels available and how best to use them.

Objective of the webinar

We will take an in depth look at how to communicate the impacts of clusters strategically to a diverse audience, including member companies and the public, but also experts and cluster communicators from across Europe.

The webinar will focus on the practical skills and tools that can be used by cluster stakeholders to improve their communication activities.

The webinar will be participatory, with room for open discussion with the audience.

An introduction will be delivered by Dr Ulla Engelmann, Head of Unit in charge of industrial clusters within the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the European Commission.

The agenda and more information will be provided closer to the webinar.

You can register here. Registration is open to participants from COSME countries. The list of COSME countries can be found here.
