Call for expressions of interest - Pilot living labs at the JRC

Aimed at enhancing The Joint Research Centre (JRC)'s input to EU policymaking in the areas of energy and transport, whilst seeking new, intelligent solutions in these fields, the European Commission is launching a call for expressions of interest to co-create living labs in Ispra, Italy and Petten, the Netherlands for smart city solutions.
This pilot call is open to public and private organisations in EU Member States and countries associated to the EU Research Programme Horizon 2020, and addresses in particular small and medium-sized enterprises, including start-ups.
The Call for Expressions of Interest is centred on Intelligent Mobility and Digital Energy, covering Future Mobility Solutions Lab (Ispra) and Digital Energy Solutions Lab (Ispra/Petten).
Applicants are offered:
- a city-like, controlled environment
- state-of-the-art laboratories and technical support
- scientific expertise
- advanced infrastructures
